Lesson 2

Goal:

To ride through the bottom of the pipe changing edges while not riding up the walls.

How:

Start by riding straight down the middle of the pipe, don’t worry about dropping in from the side at this stage. It’s time for you to get comfortable with your surroundings.

All I want you to do is make turns through the bottom of the pipe, controlling your speed and changing edges at the bottom of the transition.

Remember flexing down through the bottom of the pipe and slowly extending when you are ready to change edges. (Bottom of transition)

Half pipe

Exercise:

Practice this exercise 1 or 2 times, just to the point where you feel comfortable riding through the pipe.
