Goal:
To use effective timing with flexion and extension in the half pipe so we apply and release pressure to get maximum skill and board performance.
How:
By using timing techniques with our Flexion and extension we can truly master the correct pressure dynamics it takes to ride the half pipe effectively.
To do this, you need to start counting in your head 1, 2, 3 up & 1, 2, 3, down.

Counting 1, 2, 3 down is when we would be flexing down into our snowboard through the bottom of the pipe and transition.
By flexing down we are creating edge angle and control throughout the bottom phase of the pipe.
Counting 1, 2, 3 up is when we would be extending up through the top of the transition to the top of the wall (Lip)
Releasing all pressure by the time we get to the lip is the goal of this timing technique.
