  5. - Stop where you can be seen
  6. - Don’t Lose what you use
  7. - Stay on Scene

The mountain Park code at a ski resorts is important because it keeps everyone safe in the park. Skiing and snowboarding involve speed and a lot sometimes, changing terrain, and many people sharing the same park runs.

The Park code sets clear rules about controlling speed, yielding to others, stopping safely, and using park features safely.

  2. Inspect Features: Always inspect features before using them and throughout the day, as conditions change.
  3. Control and Ability: Ride within your ability level and stay in control at all times.
  4. Look Before You Leap: Look uphill and around before dropping into a feature or merging.

  6. Respect Features: Do not use rail lips as jumps; use features for their intended purpose.
