Lesson 9

Goal:

To do another cool trick

How:

Come onto the rail in a 50/50 postion, even weight on both feet, soft in the knees and body aligned with the snowboard. As you come to end of the rail start twisting your upper body in the direction you want to spin.

When your snowboard leaves the rail, help exaggerate the movemnts in your lower body by popping off the end. (This gives your lower body more time to come around)

Land with soft knees and ride away like the man.

Down Rail:

How:

Same concept as the flat box except this time you have to act faster, simply because you will be carring a lot more speed off the rail. Remember to visulize the trick before you're on the rail and believe you can do it.

Where:
Down Rails

Visulization Technique

Relax and enjoy the process of your snowboarding journey...
