Lesson 14

Pressed K grind

Goal:
To do a cool looking pressed K grind

How:

NOTE: Before you can even think about doing a pressed k grind, you must be comfortable with K grinds and Nose presses on your snowboard

As you come into the rail, prepare yourself to Ollie straight into the press. Perform your Ollie and kick the back foot out to the side. When you perform your ollie, it is vital you transfer your weight forward over the front foot instead of having it even over both feet.

When your snowboard makes contact with the rail, hold the back foot up and look towards the end of the box. Nollie off the end for extra style points.

Your snowboard should have a flat base and remember NOT to break at the waist!
